An Emotional Support Animal letter is a signed document from a licensed clinician confirming that your pet's presence provides therapeutic support for a diagnosed mental or emotional condition. It's a clinical determination, not a registration or certificate you can buy without one.
What it actually says
A legitimate letter includes your clinician's name, license number, license state, the date, and a statement that you have a qualifying condition and that your animal's presence is part of your treatment. It does not require or reference any kind of pet 'registration', because there is no such thing as an official national ESA registry, and any site selling one is misleading you.
